Four Ukrainian drones shot down near Moscow
Russian air defense systems shot down four Ukrainian drones last night over two areas north and east of Moscow, the Russian Ministry of Defense reported on Thursday on its Telegram channel.
According to the military department, three unmanned vehicles were destroyed over the Yaroslavl region, approximately 600 kilometers from the nearest point of the Ukrainian border.
A fourth drone was shot down over the neighboring region of Vladimir, according to Russian military commanders, who reported no casualties or damage on the ground.
In recent weeks, Ukraine has stepped up drone attacks on Russian deep space.
Last Saturday, Ukrainian drones attacked the Mozdok airbase in North Ossetia, carrying out the first strike against targets in the Russian republic, which is more than 1,000 kilometers from Ukraine.
